Cushions and Quilt Divas – Romsey Quilt Festival 2017

In the run up to this year’s exhibition, nine of our members went into Romsey Abbey Primary School to share our love of sewing with some of the children who were shown how to make cushions. These featured a large four-patch with appliqué design on the front.  Our grateful thanks to Bryan Taphouse of Lewis and Irene who supplied the beautiful fabric. The cushions were then displayed in the choir stalls of Romsey Abbey. Following the exhibition, the children were able to take their cushions home.

 Quilt Diva Challenge

As part of the 2017 exhibition there was a category interpreting an Amy Bradley design. The entries were judged by Ricky Tims who chose Angela’s entry as the Quilt Diva challenge winner (Ricky loved the glasses!).
